My unproject will be Olympic themed including archery, Discus and torches. In the ancient Greece times they held the same Olympics we have today, only difference is that our sports we have now were not always included in the Olympics then. The unproject will consist of stop motion or video for each event i picked!
My unproject will be about the Ancient Greece Olympics. Which will include the Olympic symbol, the Olympic torch, a couple of the games they played in the Olympic Games in Ancient Egypt, like for example; Wrestling ,which is no longer in the Olympic games in the present . I will also include, what they won instead of the metals we get now, which are bronze, silver and gold metals, but in Ancient Greece it was different. I will include information for the events I picked, including the subjects I said on top, like the Olympic Symbol.

The Olympic symbols are icons, flags and symbols are used by the International Olympic Committee to promote the Olympic Games. Like as the flame, fanfare, and theme - are more common during
Olympic competition, but others, such as the flag, can be seen
throughout the year.
For the ancient Greeks, fire had divine connotations. It was thought to have been stolen from the gods by Prometheus.
Ancient Greek Wrestling was the most popular organized sport in Ancient Greece.
A point was scored when one player touched the ground with his back,
hip, shoulder, or tapped out due to a submission-hold or was forced out
of the wrestling-area. Three points had to be scored to win the match. One particularly important position in this form of wrestling was one
where one of the contestants was lying on his belly with the other on
his back trying to strangle him. The athlete on the bottom would try to
grasp an arm of the one on top and turn him over onto his back while the
athlete on top would try to complete the choke without being rolled.
The ancient Greeks throughout time always valued a healthy body. They
thought it was honoring the Greek gods when they kept in shape. The
Greeks were also very competitive and loved sports. They figured that it
would be honoring the gods if they tied the two together. The result
came to be the Olympics. This sporting event honored the god Zeus who
lived on mount Olympus.

Understanding the Video
Neith was a god of hunting primarily. So in the video, I decided to have Neith creating a bow (her signature weapon). Then evil Egyptian guys show up and attack her. She was also a goddess of war so she could fight them.
I picked how to volley volleyball for my how to video because volleyball is one of my favourite sports. I was also a setter this volleyball season, so I knew and volleyed a lot more often then some of the others. I also think that a lot of people didn't know how to properly volley a volleyball, so i guess it was a good lesson to teach.
This video shows you how to put an iphone 4/4s in an iphone Lifeproof case. This video also includes how to put the phone and phone case in the Lifeproof. The holster is also able to lock your phone into your holster for no one can steal it.
I learned how to make a gorgeous bookmark look like complete garbage in the matter of a click. I also learned that animating things on Microsoft is tedious. It doesn't even look appealing. Other than those things, I have not learned anything.
Things that I look forward to(Things I'd like to do):
I look forward to never doing those projects again. I'd like to make a videogame or something. Not some dumb trivia that we'll make on "Scratch", but like an actual videogame. Like a crappy knockoff of Pong or Pokaman(Pokemon). But that "How To" video sounds fun, I look forward to that. I want to continue off from my grade 6 "How to get Saria Mad" tutorial.
In term 2 I learned how to use a camera to make a movie and upload it to youtube and how to use kinetic typography and how to animate things.
In term 3 I want to learn more about photo shop. I want to also learn more about kinetic typography and animation.

In term 2 I have learned a lot of things like converting my animation into a movie and i also learned making kinetic typography and uploading it all on YouTube. We did a lot of editing to make sure everything is good and ready to upload. I enjoyed making the Freak The Mighty Quote and make the quotes stand out and make it more creative and having fun with the words. We did some math movie when we have to take a video and upload this to the computer then put it on YouTube.
In term 3 I want to spend more time on popcorn maker where u edit a video to make it look better and put fun words, u can also transfer a picture with it too so it's more creative and have a really good mark. I also want to learn how to make the video perfectly.
In term 2 I had learn a lot of things about publishing and making a kinetic typography, and also uploading a video in YouTube. We also did some editing on a video. And I really enjoyed this term because we did some video that involves math.... and I think that's an extra circular for me, it's an extra practice and learning. It also helped me grow more in math. And the stuff we did this term were the kinetic typography movie, we day, bookmark, postcard, math movie (which I like most), the freak the mighty power point and the popcorn maker where we can edit some of our videos we did.I also learned how to convert some animation and the text. and the most favorite stuff we did is when I get to choose any of the animation and side effects in the Freak the Mighty typography, it was so fun exploring all the animation and side effect I can do in text and also pictures.
In term 3 I want to improve more on editing the video and using more of the popcorn maker. I also want to learn more about technology like, creating a whole awesome video or slides. And make my slides or video more awesome and great. This next term i also want to do more of uploading videos about math, because I think that was amazing and fun. It actually help me a lot.

In Term 2 I learned how to animate (sorta) and how to make better PowerPoint's. Something I would like to do in the next term is make more videos. Like full blown videos with scripts and everything. The unit could be on camera angles, lighting, and script writing. The video could be like 5 minutes long and be about anything as well. Another thing that I would like to do is make video games. Like on Scratch. It isn't very hard to figure out Scratch and it's super fun to play around with.

In Term 2 I learned how to how to tell a story by using just word (typography). I learned how to animate words and make them come to life and mean something instead of making it just normal, boring words.
In Term 3 I want to learn how to do more animation along with editing movies(that you've made) by using Mozilla or other movie editing websites. I also want to learn how to fix computers and figure out what is wrong with it. But I don't think that is a part of this course at this level/grade.
